KeLVIN HEIGHTS HOUSE
QUEENSTOWN
2024
This Kelvin Heights project included a major renovation and extension to the original home.
Extending the top story south to accomodate a master bedroom and lounge, while a space for additional family is included on the ground floor.
The home’s original ceilings were retained in the upper floor, though modernised. The original condition of the rafters remains.
Recycled Rimu flooring was sourced in order to keep the original flooring throughout the dining and living space.
Downstairs was modernised with a complete renovation and fit out, achieving the ability for this space to be self-contained.
The exterior of the house is completely re-clad with timber and metal cladding.
The home remains as it was intended, as a cosy escape, which can now accommodate a growing family.
